Pemanfaatan Kotoran Sapi dan Arang Serbuk Gergaji sebagai Media Tanam Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) di Pembibitan Awal

Abstract

The use of cow dung and sawdust charcoal as planting media in nurseries can influence alternative planting media for oil palm seedlings because they contain nutrients and are widely available in the market. This study aims to determine the best dose of cow dung and sawdust charcoal for the growth of oil palm seedlings and determine the effect of giving a mixture of cow dung and charcoal charcoal to the morphology and physiology of oil palm seedlings. This study was conducted in March to August 2022 on the Land Transportation Road Blok B, Cibuntu Village, Cibitung District, Bekasi Regency, West Java. The method used in this experiment is a non-factorial random group design with P1 treatment (100% cow dung), P2 (75% Cow dung + 25% Sawing Powder), P3 (50% Cow dung + 50% powder charcoal saws), P4 (25% Cow dung + 75% Saw powder charcoal), and P5 (100% charcoal charcoal sawdust). Each treatment is repeated 3 times, and has 3 samples so there are 45 seeds. The results of this study indicate that the giving of cow dung and sawdust charcoal significantly affects the height of the plant, stem diameter, leaf area, plant biomass and dose of a mixture of cow dung and the best sawdust charcoal is found in the treatment of P1 (100% of cow dung).
