Potensi Cendawan Hijau (Metarhizium anisopliae) dalam Ketersediaan
Abstract
A fungus that can be used as a biological agent that has the potential to increase nutrient availability in oil palm growing media is the green fungus (Metarhizium anisopliae). Green fungi have the potential to be used as a biological agent in growing media. This study aims to determine the potential of green fungi (Metarhizium anisopliase) in increasing the availability of N, P, and K in oil palm growing media during the early nursery period. This research was conducted from January to April 2024 at the Experimental Garden II of Citra Widya Edukasi Oil Palm Polytechnic, Bekasi Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia. This research used an experimental method. The design used was a randomized block design with the following treatments: P0 (control), P1 (5 ml of Metarhizium anisopliase solution), and P2 (10 ml of Metarhizium anisopliase solution). Based on the results of the analysis of nutrient content in the planting medium, treatment with 5 ml of Metarhizium anisopliase solution was better at increasing stem diameter and plant biomass, and treatment with 10 ml of Metarhizium anisopliase solution tended to be better at increasing plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, and root length.
