Peranan Bakteri Nitrobacter dan Nitrosomonas untuk Penambah Unsur Hara N, P, K pada Kompos Kotoran Sapi
Abstract
Nitrification is one of the most important soil biological activities in the nitrogen cycle. The bacteria that play a role in the nitrification process are Nitrobacter and Nitrosomonan. This research aims to determine the nutrient content of N, P, K, pH and C/N values ??in cow dung added with Nitrobacter and Nitrosomonas bacteria. This research was conducted at Laboratory of Biologi and Teaching Farm of Politeknik Kelapa Sawit Citra Widya Edukasi, Bekasi from Desember 2020 to June 2021. The research used adescriptive method with 3 treatments: P1: (control), P2 : Bacteria of Nitrobacter and Nitrosomonas 250 ml + cow dung 50 kg, and P3 : Bacteria of Nitrobacter and Nitrosomonas 750 ml + cow dung 50 kg. Each treatments were 1 replications so the total unit of experiments were 3 units. Observation parameters consisted of pH, C/N, nutrient levels of N, P, and K. The result showed that the nutrient content of N decreased in the treatment cow dung added with Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter bacteria, both 250 ml and 750 ml, but increased in the control treatment, the P nutrient content increased in cow dung compost treated with Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter bacteria as much as 750 ml, and the K nutrient content decreased in all treatments. at 3 BSA.
