Analisis Deskriptif Perencanaan dan Pengorganisasian Pengangkutan Tandan Buah Segar di PT TS Kebun XY

Abstract

The main product of the oil palm plant is palm oil, often referred to as crude palm oil (CPO). A good CPO is one that comes from FFB with the best level of maturity and also has good transportation management. There are two types of transportation systems: the Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) transportation system using the manual method and the FFB transportation system using the Bin System application. This research was conducted using the observation method and descriptive analysis, with the aim of knowing how the FFB transportation system works at PT TS Kebun XY. The results showed that the FFB transportation system at PT TS Kebun XY using the Bin system application was considered effective. PT TS Kebun XY requires 3 units of hooklifts and 6 units of scissorlifts to transport FFB, with an average hooklift speed of seventy-one minutes per cycle. The fastest filling process for the hooklift bin is in the morning, with an average speed of 4.9 minutes per ton of FFB.
